Day one of the Advent Book. This is Zubat who definitely has crobat potential so he get's to be first!	Day 2 of the advent book is espeon! For the first two days I did a long and short stitch which I ended up not liking. While it is much more durable I prefer satin stitch and at this small of a scale it won't make a huge difference long term.	Day three is magneton! A pokemon that is three pieces put together and is jokingly the representation for me and two of my friends in the community this finished book will be used for.
Day four is kricketot! This is a nod to Jick's stream bot named Krickebot. I was really happy I decided to change to satin stitch after all because this guy looks so handsome!	Day five is falinks as a little bit of an inside joke. Jick misremembered how many pieces falinks has (he thought it was five it's actually six) and made a joke about the circles looking like shiny onix.	Day six is shiny onix! As described on day five this one is an inside joke with Jick's community.
Day seven is primarina! One of the final evolutions of the starter from generation seven. I designed the 7 to look like sheet music since primarina's signature move, sparkling aria, is focused around music.	Day 8 is grookey, one of the starters from generation 8 of the pokemon games.	Day 9 is a bit of a play on words with the pokemon arcanine and the little robot dog K-9 from Doctor Who!
Jick's shortest dynamax adventure shiny is Tapu Lele which he got at an impressive ten adventures!	Day 11 is shiny metapod - regularly called metapog in a joking fashion which makes his little pog face make a bit more sense!	Day 12 is klefki! A nod to a regular member of the community whose favorite number is 12 and loves klefki!
Day 13 is Chansey. Chansey is a pokemon that is supposed to bring good luck so I thought she could even out the bad luck of the number 13. I also joke that any time a chansey shows up she's reminding you to take care of yourself and hydrate, which is why she's offering a glass of water!	Day 14 is shinx! An electric pokemon from generation 4, which was Jick's thinking when I asked him what pokemon he associated with the number 14.	Day 15 is the cat pokemon purrloin. Purrloin in the anime is known as a little thief so I thought it was funny to use this button that looks like it has a space for a gem that's missing.
Day 16 is chikorita - Jick's favorite starter.	Day 17 is machop! Machop is a bit of a meme in Jick's community because of pokemon mystery dungeon assigning him as a machop and because of an incident where he accidentally let a shiny machop evolve. This is a play on the O7 saluting emote - which I have actually drawn for Jick to use as an emote on his twitch channel!	Day 18 is shiny shieldon! Shiny shieldon is one of Jick's luckiest shinies that he got on the very first egg of a masuda hunt!
Day 19 is the pokemon unown! Unown is a special pokemon that has over 26 different designs, one for each letter of the alphabet and a couple extra punctuation marks. This one is a J unown, J for Jick, and I changed to coloring to make it look like a candy cane. This is a huge throwback Jick reference as he had designed some of the unown to look like candy canes for a project he was playing with ages ago that never came to pass, but I remembered him mentioning it and added it to the book!	Day 20 is shiny wailmer! Wailmer has been a Jick stream meme for ages because he did a chain fishing hunt for staryu in a spot where wailmer was the most common spawn and staryu was the 5%. By the time he got the shiny staryu Jick had 44 shiny wailmer. The embroidery for this one is the biggest of the bunch and I used the biggest button I had. Wailmer is a gigantic pokemon so it just seemed appropriate.	Day 21 is hawlucha! Hawlucha is my favorite pokemon and 21 is my favorite number so I just had to do a self insert (it also matches with day 22). I've got the hawlucha pointing towards the next page like it's hyping you up to see the main show.
Day 22 is timburr! 22 is Jick's favorite number and it's been generally decided that timburr is the most "Jick" pokemon since he does house renovations and handyman work for a living.	Day 23 is dugtrio. A pokemon with three parts for the 3 in 23, but dugtrio has also been a pokemon that's randomly shown up for Jick, shiny or not, a lot. He pulls dugtrio cards when he opens packs and runs into random shiny ones during other hunts.	Day 24 is Jirachi with a bonus maushold. Jirachi is a mythical pokemon that's said to grant wishes so I thought it was the right pokemon to add before the last day when you're hoping for a good last pull. I've also added a little group of maushold's sleeping peacefully as a nod to the "A Visit from St Nicholas" line "not a creature was stirring not even a mouse." I based their blanket on the comforter Jick has on his bed that we can see during stream.
The final day is spoink! Spoink and its evolution grumpig are Jick's favorite pokemon and one of his emotes is a spoink with a heart on its head instead of a pearl just like this! Spoink's pokedex number is also 325 so it just fits with this number perfectly. The button I chose is a nod to the subscriber badges Jick started out with on his channel - a series of pearls (like Spoink has on its head) which eventually graduated to a diamond after a year of subscribing.
