This is a six-inch by nine-inch gouache piece originally done as part of StreamINK 2023 for the prompts "sun" and "skeleton." This was inspired by an archeological discovery made in 2006 in Shahr-e Sukhteh, Iran. A skeleton was found with a gold coated prosthetic eye and is still the earliest evidence of an eye prosthesis showing a continued history of injury, healing, and caring for disabled people. The warmth of human care throughout the archeological record inspired this combination.
